Privacy
Written plainly rather than defensively. If something here is unclear, email me and I will answer it and then fix the wording.
If you got a cold email from me
I found your business on Google Maps, along with a publicly listed email address on your own website or listing. That is the whole source. I did not buy a list and I did not get your details from anyone you have done business with.
I store your business name, city, publicly listed email, phone and website, and whether you replied. Nothing about you personally beyond a first name where your own site published one.
Reply to any email of mine with the word stop and I delete your record. Not suppress it, delete it. You will not hear from me again and I will not sell or share the record with anyone.
If you call the demo line
The demo line is an automated assistant. It says so, and says the call is recorded, in its first sentence, before you have said anything. That is required in California and I would say it anyway.
The demo agent is configured to store transcripts with personal details stripped, so the names, phone numbers and addresses that people give it while play-acting a customer are not retained. I can see that a call happened, how long it was, and the stripped transcript. I do not call people back off the demo line.
If you become a customer
Then the calls are your customers’ calls, not mine. Recordings and transcripts of your line exist so you can check what was said, they belong to your account, and they are deleted when you cancel. Ask me to delete them sooner and I will. Your callers hear the recording disclosure at the top of every call.
This website
Vercel hosts this site and I use their privacy-focused analytics, which counts page views and does not use cookies or build a profile of you. There is no advertising pixel, no session recording and no third-party tracker. If you tap the demo number I record that a tap happened, not who tapped it.
Getting your data
Email bridger@answeredline.com and ask what I hold on you, or ask me to delete it. One person reads that inbox and it is me. California residents have those rights under the CCPA and everyone gets them here regardless of where they live.
